South Mission Beach Jetty
Look out along that long grey rock jetty, running straight out to sea beside the channel. This jetty was not finished until September 1950.
The Plunge and Giant Dipper
Look at the big cream-colored Spanish-style building right on the boardwalk. That's the Plunge. Through the windows, you can often see swimmers in the long indoor pool.
Ocean Front Walk
Look down. You're on Ocean Front Walk, the concrete walk built with the seawall, right by the sand.
Sail Bay
Look out over the water. This is Sail Bay, the northwest corner of Mission Bay, known for its small sailboats.
Crystal Pier
Look out along Crystal Pier, at the two rows of little white cottages with blue trim, running out over the water.
